Alderlea Vineyards is one of Vancouver Island’s oldest and most respected vineyards, nestled in the Cowichan Valley, near Duncan on Vancouver Island. The estate-grown grapes produce a mix of dry white wines including Bacchus, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc. Red wines comprise Pinot Noir, Clarinet made from old vine Marechal Foch, Merlot, and a Cabernet Foch blend known as Matrix.
Open 7 days a week by appointment.
When you make an appointment, you will be given a private tasting that will last up to an hour (you set the pace). There will typically be two white wines & two red wines, or occasionally a special feature, like a Rosé.
Making a booking is recommended. We do our best to accommodate, but we cannot always take last-minute guests, as we do not overlap tasting appointments.
August is Cowichan Wine Festival month, and during this busy time, we will try to accommodate short-notice visitors, however, a booking is your best way to ensure a tasting is available.
